Hey Parents,
I have been closely monitoring the weather both here and in Columbus (where we are heading). We will not cancel Uprising but it is a possibility that we will hold off our departure till 8am tomorrow morning. Please refer to this blog for futher updates as a decision will be rendered by 5pm.
-The current forecast is for 30% chance of precipitation in Katy at 7pm tonight, and 10% at 8pm. So the worst of the storm is now. I've been on the phone a few times with our contact in Columbus and she said they haven't seen any precipitation at all and the forecast is 0% precipitation by 5pm in Columbus. So please let this blog be your primary information station regarding future updates...as it is difficult to communicate with everyone via phone. Thanks!
